"The Boss" set to play Philly concert for Obama

Bruce Springsteen will be performing a free concert Barack Obama in Philadelphia on Saturday. The gates to the event will open around 2 PM and the show will start at 3 PM. The event is an attempt to register more voters before Monday's deadline. A new poll released thismorning shows as many as 60 percent of all new registered voters are supporting Obama over John McCain, which explains why the campaign may be eager to register as many new voters as possible. The event will be held on the Ben Franklin Parkway, between 20th and 22nd streets.
