Biden gaffe in Ohio will be seen in Pa. ads
By Wally EdgeMake no doubt about it, a gaffe by Joe Biden in Ohio today will be seen on in Pennsylvania campaign ads soon. Biden, while talking to someone on a rope line, and probably not known he was being filmed said "we are not supporting clean coal," when asked why he was supporting it. Biden went on to say China is burning dirty coal and we need to make sure they turn it into clean coal, but then finished with "no coal plants here in America." With clean coal such a driving force in Pa. you can be assured it will be on the airwaves soon. This also gives John McCain a chance to try and shift the topic back to energy which he seemed to do better with than the current Wall Street fiasco.

In context, he said there will be no dirty coal plants...he praised clean coal...no dirty coal here. I ma sure McBlame will run it the way you area dvising them to, but it will be just another lie and fabrication.

Context?
"We are not supporting clean coal"
How can you possibly argue that a declarative statment like "We are not supporting clean coal" could possibly be out of context? The question was "why are you supporting clean coal?" and his answer was "we're not supporting clean coal." Pretty straightforward. More polititcians need to give straight up declarative answers just like that. Easy to undertand, no ambiguity, we know where Biden stands on the issue of clean coal. He is against it.
The OBAMA/BIDEN ticket is
The OBAMA/BIDEN ticket is committed not only to using coal, but explanding the possibilites of coal.
Something Joe Biden just said on Saturday in Virginia (9/20):
“Imagine … what Barack and I can do, taking that four billion dollars and investing it in coal gasification,” he said. “That’s within our capacity to do it. If you give me four billion dollars, I promise you, I promise you, we will find the answer.”

Also, remember OBAMA's speeches, and every other opportunity the OBAMA/BIDEN ticket speak on this subject ESTABLISH COMMITMENT TO CLEAN COAl.
If you listen to the entire tape, the remarks by BIDEN are on the run, off the cuff. If you place them in context, it is abundantly clear that the MCBLAME camp’s claims are again FALSE.
Biden believes we have to develop and utilize all forms of clean energy. He, and everyone else for that matter, is against "dirty" coal (hence the many references in the short statement to China polluting the air wiht its dirty coal) plants and the harm to our environment caused by those "dirty" coal plants.
Repugnicans, once again, you are busted.
Now, hold your breath, count to three, and stop lying, stop disorting, and repeat after me...

So, to sum it up, we have lots of Independents in PA who will break for McCain. We've been called a bunch of bitter, bible thumping gun clingers who hate immigrants. The NRA is running a huge anti obama campaign here, because they know we like our guns and they know obama wants to take them away form us. Coal is not only a huge part of this state's history, but there's a lot of coal in "them thar hills", and coal still employs a lot of people here and is a stable employer - at union wages......
Obama - take yourself and your gaffolating running mate and go back to Chicago where all good political thugs thrive. We don't like you. You can't win here. Begone!
And, to all the obama supporters who came on here to say this is a "lie" - your boy Biden said it. We heard it. PA heard it. The unions heard it. The coal miners heard it. So, to all of you - Begone! Ask Ed Rendell About Clean Coal
Ed Rendell has been pushing clean coal since 2005, including new coal plants, to create jobs here in PA.
I think its time a reporter asked Rendell how his plan fits in with the obama/biden plan.......
No Coal period, dirty or clean
Biden, a hostage to liberal environmentalists, says no coal, clean or dirty. We are Saudi Arabia of coal, and it is our main energy source for electricity to power all those air conditions in New York, California, and southern states.
Praising Clean Coal in China
Yes, Biden praised clean coal, as long as it is in China. Never here, no clean coal here.
No Clean Coal
There is a coal power plant in South Dakota, on the Minnesota border. They have trying for years to expand it with clean coal electric power generation designed with the best available emission-control technologies, but are always stopped.
No Coal is clean, clean is in the burning technology
Clean Coal is in the power plant facilitation, emission removal technologies, not in the coal itself, for which efforts have been taken to reduce the emission of pollutants, such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
