Casey goes there

Senator Bob Casey did something his father was denied to do 16 years ago.  Casey addressed the Democratic National Convention to address the economy.  Casey also took a moment to mention his disagreement with Barack Obama on abortion.

Casey a Tragic Figure

Casey sold out to speak at the DNC, while his father, back in 1992, was tossed to the side line in humiliation. If this was the DNP's moment to make amends and seem inclusive, it fell like a lead balloon. Casey hitched his wagon to a rising star, and in doing so, abandoned his father's legacy of uncompromissing advocacy for "life" causes. In supporting a candidate, who has promised to sign into law the "Freedom of Choice Act," he will help open the floodgate that will remove all restrictions on abortion, up until natural labor begins. This law will over-ride state rights and will undo the work of Robert P. Casey, Sr. Casey is a tragic as Hamlet.
