Ridge back on McCain’s short list?
By Wally EdgeIt was thought by many John McCain had probably removed Tom Ridge from consideration because of his stance on abortion. McCain himself brought the idea up when he gold Chris Matthews last fall that picking a pro-choice candidate would be “difficult.”
In an interview with the weekly Standard posted online today, McCain said he won’t rule out a pro-choice running mate.
