Was McCain's fate sealed in Pa. before the last month?

Over the last year John McCain's fate in Pennsylvania may have been sealed by the registration and organization efforts of the Democratic State Committee, Democratic National Committee and the campaign organizations of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Reminder, Monday is last day to register new voters

Bruce Springsteen will be doing his part in Philadelphia today to register new voters. If you are planning on registering voters it needs to be done by Monday as October 6th is the final day to register voters in Pennsylvania.

Democrats tout new voter reg numbers

Pennsylvania Democrats are touting the new voter registration numbers released on Monday.  The data shows another 30K Democrats were registered bringing their total to 4,307,056 while the Republicans added another 16K to bring their total to 3,188,759.

GOP not turning it around yet in Pa.

Leading up to the presidential primary Democratic voter rolls soared as those wanting to vote for or against Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama switched parties or registered to vote for the first time.  Immediately after the primary the Republicans made a public effort to reregister those switchers back to the Republican party.  It has been two months since the primary and that has not happened. 

Since April 22nd Democrats have increased their voter registration by over 40,000 voters while the Republicans have lost almost 1,500.
