Leading up to the presidential primary Democratic voter rolls soared as those wanting to vote for or against Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama switched parties or registered to vote for the first time. Immediately after the primary the Republicans made a public effort to reregister those switchers back to the Republican party. It has been two months since the primary and that has not happened.
Since April 22nd Democrats have increased their voter registration by over 40,000 voters while the Republicans have lost almost 1,500.
