Muhlenberg tracking poll: Final survey has Obama up only 6

Every day, PolitickerPA.com has been publishing the results of the latest Muhlenberg College tracking poll.  Today, we bring you the results of the final survey data before Election Day.

The last poll shows Democrat Barack Obama with a 6-point lead over Republican John McCain in Pennsylvania, a 10-point drop since Oct. 16. Obama garners 52 percent of the vote, compared to 46 for McCain, with only 2 percent undecided. Obama's support has largely been steady in recent weeks, but undecided voters have seemed to gradually break for McCain.

Other polls have also showed the race tightening, with Obama's lead ranging from four to seven points.

Muhlenberg tracking poll: Obama's lead keeps slipping, now at 7

Every day from now until Election Day, PolitickerPA.com will publish the results of the latest Muhlenberg College tracking poll.

The latest poll shows Democrat Barack Obama with a 7-point lead over Republican John McCain in Pennsylvania, his smallest in the survey since late-September. Obama garners 52 percent of the vote compared to 45 percent for McCain, with 3 percent undecided. In a sign that the race is settling into its final contours, the percentage of undecided voters has gradually fallen, with 3 percent being the smallest to date.

At the same time, Obama's support has leveled off, while McCain's had steadily increased. Other polls have also showed the race tightening to single-digits.

Muhlenberg tracking poll: Obama over McCain, 52-44

Every day from now until Election Day, PolitickerPA.com will publish the results of the latest Muhlenberg College tracking poll.

Barack Obama's lead over John McCain has shrunk to 8 points, according to the latest poll. That's a 5-point swing from two days ago, when Obama was up 54 percent to 41 percent.  The margin is the closest it's been since September, according to the poll, which is line with others that show a slight tightening in the race for Pennsylvania's 21 electoral votes.

Muhlenberg tracking poll: Obama over McCain, 54-41

Every day from now until Election Day, PolitickerPA.com will publish the results of the latest Muhlenberg College tracking poll.

The latest poll shows Barack Obama leading John McCain 54 percent to 41 percent, a 2-point increase for the Democratic presidential nominee from Tuesday. Obama hasn't had fewer than a 10-pointover the Republican Presidential nominee since Oct. 2, according to the poll, and the 54 percent support is his highest yet.

The latest poll shows Democrat Barack Obama with a 11-point lead over Republican John McCain. Obama garners 53 percent of the vote compared to 42 percent for McCain, with 4 percent undecided. Obama's edge in the survey has largely stayed steady in low double-figures over the last week, but the percentage of undecided voters is the smallest to date.
