Monroeville, PA -- Steve O'Donnell, candidate for U.S. Congress, announced today that he has received the endorsement of the California Nurses Association, which represents 5000 registered nurses in Pennsylvania and 85,000 nurses nationwide.
"Health care is a number one priority for most Americans," said O'Donnell. "The Bush administration and its supporters in Congress have stonewalled on this issue for too long. I am pleased to have the support of the nurses, and I pledge to help improve health care for all Americans."
The endorsement by the nurses association comes on the heels of major endorsement by the United Steelworkers of America, the United Auto Workers Local 544, the Pittsburgh Area Retiree Chapter of the American Postal Workers Union, Clean Water Action, Planned Parenthood, and the Utility Workers of America Local 102.
