Gerlach sent out a letter recently blaming the Democratically controlled congress for high oil prices. He says they are prohibiting oil companies from build new refineries and drilling of the coast. He says off shore drilling with bring down prices of oil. What he does not say is when and how much nor does he say why oil companies are not drilling in the leased land they presently have. I fail to understand why the democrats are being blamed for the oil companies not building new refineries but the Republicans blame someone else for every thing.
