Congressional candidate Kathy Dahlkemper has created a steadily increasing buzz as the insurgent candidate in Pennsylvania's 3rd Congressional District.
Tuesday's fundraising totals might slow that momentum.
Dahlkemper raised $161,911 in the second quarter, nearly $250,000 less than her opponent, U.S. Rep. Phil English (R-Erie), who raised $417,242.
The disparity between how much total cash each candidate has is even greater. Dahlkemper actually has less on hand than she raised in the second quarter, with $127,866 total dollars.
English, on the other hand, has $786,983 in the bank.
Hardball host and possible Pa. U.S. Senate candidate Chris Matthews returns to the Ellen Show today. Will we see more of this? >

You can only ask for so much
You can only ask for so much money from your friends and family in Erie - she doesn't have the broad range support in the 3rd district that she claims she has.
