Suddenly embattled U.S. Rep. John Murtha (D-Johnstown) is calling high-profile Democrats across the country for money and support as he tries to fend off Republican challenger Bill Russell.
On Monday, he'll receive help from one of the Democrats' biggest guns: Bill Clinton.
The former president will attend a get-out-the-vote rally for the 17-term incumbent Monday afternoon at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
It will the first of two stops Monday by Clinton for embattled Pennsylvania congressman. He will campaign later in the day for U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-Nanticoke), who, like Murtha, faces a stiff test this year after cruising to victory in 2006.
Hey Bill, don't waste your
Hey Bill, don't waste your time coming to Scranton, we're kicking Kanjorski out of office. You can visit him next week when he has more time on his hands. All we need here is an aldulterer coming to support a dam crook.
Same goes for Murtha. I can see the ad for your visit now...."All ignorant, redneck racists are invited to attend a rally featuring Bill Clinton"
GO RUSSELL BRIGADE!
I can see these two idiots
I can see these two idiots as good ole drinking buddies when Murtha loses his seat for his bigoted comments. He is so stuck on himself, and lost site of being a marine and condemned his own before they were even tried. The VFW and American Legion should show no pity on this fool.
