Georgian leaders address Pa. delegation about Russian invasion

MINNETONKA, Minn. -- The Pennsylvania delegation Thursday morning received a visit from two high-ranking Georgian officials, who, while careful not to distinguish between John McCain and Barack Obama, lauded the United States for its support over the conflict with Russia.

Giorgi Baramidze, Georgia's deputy prime minister, and Temuri Yakobashvili, state minister, surprised most in the delegation with their appearance.

The McCain campaign has seized on Russia's invasion of Georgia as an example of the kind of dangerous world that exists, a world better navigated by the experience senator from Arizona.
